Dave & the Diatonics
The Diatonic Scale is a form of music scale that involves a progression
through a range of tones. I used the flats of all the letters to show a Diatonic scale.
These were die cut, as I wanted them to become the prominent element of the cover.
I then used the CMYK colours with the different strokes of the letters to suggest a mixing
and matching of sounds. The bright colours were used to represent the excitement
of the music and culture.
