TypeFactory is Lincolnshire’s newest museum and art gallery,
the £8.5m museum is set to open its doors to the public this
Christmas. Based in the centre of Lincoln, the museum replaces
the old City and County Museum. TypeFactory is a unique museum
and gallery dedicated to all things typographic. It is a place of
education, exploration and excitement. Typefactory is split into two
separate sections; the first is a museum in which you can find a wide
range of permanent artifacts and displays that demonstrate the history
of type and typographic design. The second is a gallery space, which
hosts exhibitions of contemporary type design.
